Since starting this business, a lot has changed. I've explored different ideas, refined my products, and even changed the business name. However, one thing has always remained the same: my mission.<\/p>

Educate With Threads.<\/strong><\/p>

Those three words capture exactly what I want to achieve.<\/p>

The business name has had a few different versions since pre-start. My original choice had to be changed after a French fashion company raised concerns before I had officially launched. I then launched as Clever Cotton<\/strong>. While many people liked the name, I felt it focused too much on the organic cotton used in our products rather than the purpose behind them.<\/p>

In April 2026, I rebranded to Cognitees<\/strong>.<\/p>

The inspiration came from my daughter and my interest in her development. Years earlier, I had seen how a child reacted to a graphic on a T-shirt, and it stayed with me. It made me realise that clothing could be more than something we wear, it could encourage learning, curiosity, and conversation.<\/p>

The name Cognitees<\/strong> is a play on the words cognition<\/em> and tees<\/em>. Cognition refers to how we learn, think, remember, and understand the world around us. By combining it with \"tees\", I created a name that reflects what the brand stands for. And don't worry - the idea doesn't stop at T-shirts. There may well be Cogni-tops, Cogni-sweaters, Cogni-hoodies, and whatever else the future brings. The mission, however, will always stay the same: Educate With Threads.<\/strong><\/p>

I believe learning doesn't just happen in classrooms. It happens through play, exploration, conversations, and everyday moments.
